Mirror this library · redundancy is resistance

A library on one server can be taken down. One on a hundred can't. Everything here is yours to copy.

1. Grab the data

Full library dump (all metadata + full texts where we hold them), rebuilt nightly. One JSON object per line: title, author, slug, category, tags, body, source, iaId…

2. Or export the texts

Bulk exports are served straight from this site — no third-party account or repo needed:

curl -O https://openreadery.org/export/all.jsonl.gz

3. Seed the torrent

Even if you never run a mirror — seeding keeps the archive alive. Every seeder is a backup nobody can subpoena all of.

4. Per-shelf exports

Every category page has a download button, and collections export individually as gzipped JSONL.

Why

Texts on our preserved list have documented ban and takedown history. Institutional archives fold under legal pressure; distributed copies don't. If this site ever disappears, you hold everything needed to bring it back.
